Judy
Judy was born
on February 24, 1996. Her breeder and co-owner is Leslie Ann Engen
of San Jo Shibas in Washington state. Leslie had selected Judy to
keep and show herself, but we got very lucky and were able to make
Judy part of our family in January 1997. When she came out of her
crate after the long plane ride from Washington to Texas, she was
everything I had hoped for and more. With her delightful
temperament, she bonded with us right away. Judy loves being a house
dog, lounging on the couch with her family and taking care of our
twin daughters-she loves to lick those sticky fingers.

Online:
Judy (San Jo Judy in Disguise) won Reserve Best in Show at
the Virtual Dog Show.
American
Kennel Club: Judy finished her AKC
Championship in July of 1998 at the Astro World Series of Dog
Show in Houston with a 4 point major. Thank you to the judges who
awarded Judy with the wins which made her a champion. Judy was
shown for the first time as a special after a year long break. She
won Best of Breed under judge Fred Basset. Judy has won several Best
of Breed wins on her way to becoming a champion as well. She
was specialed sparingly with several Best of Breeds over top ranked
shibas.
International:
Judy went on to finish her FCI International championship in June of
1997. Thank you to the following judges, David Lee, Shari Mason and
Leslie Rogers. In route to her championship she also was honored
with a group 1.

Good and CERF normal. Her knees have
been examined by our vet, thyroid is normal.
